This policy covers this website. Our apps have privacy notices of their own, linked from within each app and from its app store listing.

Controller

No cookies, no analytics, no third parties

This website sets no cookies. It embeds no analytics or tracking services, no external fonts and no other content from anybody else's servers. No profiling and no automated decision-making takes place.

Server log files

When you open this website, the hosting provider automatically records the data your browser transmits:

• IP address
• date and time of the request
• the page requested and the amount of data transferred
• browser type and operating system
• the page visited before (referrer)

This data is technically necessary in order to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This data is not combined with any other source of data. The log files are deleted by the hosting provider after a short period.

Hosting

This website is served through GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA – a company of the Microsoft Corporation. When the pages are requested, the access data named above is processed on GitHub's servers.

Personal data is therefore transferred to the United States. The transfer relies on Microsoft's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, in addition, on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR, which form part of GitHub's data protection agreement. The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contacting us by email

If you write to us by email, we process what you tell us solely in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete enquiries once they are settled and no statutory retention period stands in the way.
